The genteel look was relaxed and well-traveled with furniture silhouettes rendered in stained rattan, tropical timbers, and bamboo. The Newberry Bed is handmade of sturdy natural rattan with frame molding, and hand finished to capture the rich tortoise shell patina that once defined colonial furniture from exotic, faraway places like Africa, India, and the West Indies. Headboard, footboard and side rails are covered in rattan sheeting for great depth and texture. Corner posts are crowned with turned ball finials to complete the vintage look.
